Robyn Anthony is a contemporary romance author from Texas, lifelong reader, professional overthinker, and firm believer that there is always room for one more book.
Her love affair with books started early. When Robyn was little, she used to play librarian and make her younger sister check books out of their home library. Robyn had the books, her sister had the library card, and apparently Robyn had very strong opinions about proper checkout procedures.
Looking back, she probably should have seen this coming.
Robyn has been a storyteller for as long as she can remember. Characters, conversations, and entire scenes have a habit of showing up in her head at the most inconvenient possible times. For years, she told herself that someday she would sit down and turn those stories into books.
Eventually, she realized that eventually is a pretty terrible writing schedule.
So she started writing.
As a contemporary romance author, Robyn writes stories about complicated people, ridiculous chemistry, witty banter, messy feelings, and the kind of love that sneaks up on you when you least expect it. She loves slow burns, forced proximity, unexpected vulnerability, strong emotional connections, and watching two people who absolutely should know better fall hopelessly in love.
Basically, she likes making her characters suffer until they earn their happily-ever-after.
When she isn’t writing romance novels, Robyn is usually reading, listening to music—constantly—working on another creative project, or spending time with her family. She lives in Texas with her husband, three kids, three dogs, and two cats, so quiet writing time is less of a guarantee and more of a mythical creature.
She’s also fueled by chocolate chip muffins, an unreasonable amount of caffeine, and the promise of just one more chapter.
Robyn believes the best romance books should make you laugh, make you swoon, break your heart just a little, and keep you turning pages long after you should have gone to bed. Those are the stories she hopes to bring to readers, too.
